As part of the drive to create an enabling environment for affordable housing development and mortgage creation, the Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company (NMRC) along with officials of the Mortgage Banking Association of Nigeria (MBAN), paid a courtesy call to the Kwara State Government.
The NMRC team, led by the MD/CEO, Mr. Kehinde Ogundimu had useful discussions with top Kwara government functionaries including the Deputy Gov, His Excellency, Kayode Alabi, Director General Lands, Barrister Bolaji Edun, and the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Salman Jawondo.
Mr. Ogunimu presented copies of the NMRC Model Mortgage Foreclosure Law (MMFL) to the Kwara State Government and encouraged Kwara to collaborate with NMRC to boost its ongoing housing development initiatives as well as improve the State’s Ease of Doing Business Rankings.
