Mr. Tunde Wale-Temowo is a certified professional in the fields of Human Resources and Project Management (HRMP, SHRM-SCP, and PMP) with hands-on experience and core competency in human resources management.
He is also a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM). In his current role, he is responsible for the management of NMRC’s Human Resources functions covering HR strategy and policy articulation, manpower planning & recruitment, performance management, compensation & benefits, learning & development, and other key HR processes. His
scope of responsibilities also includes oversight of the company’s Administrative function. Prior to joining NMRC as the pioneer head of its HR function, Tunde had worked as a Management Consultant with KPMG Nigeria, focusing on People & Change Management.
He worked as Technical Advisor on Human Resources and Programme Management to the Securities & Exchange Commission, Nigeria (SEC). He performed the role as an embedded technical resource on secondment from KPMG. On this assignment, he assisted the Commission in rolling out its redesigned organisation structure. The assignment involved conducting high-level staff assessment for the Commission’s Senior Staff and subsequently fitting staff into appropriate functions on the new structure. Prior to that, he had helped set up the Human Resources function of the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority
(NSIA), as Human Resources Lead, on secondment from KPMG. In that role, he had responsibility for the Authority’s
Human Resources value chain from recruitment and selection, to policy definition, staff on-boarding, statutory compliances, payroll administration etc. He also led various teams to provide HR Advisory services to major public and private sector organisations, while at KPMG.
Tunde had also previously worked in one of Nigeria’s leading commercial banks. His 2-year experience at the bank cut across business development and operations functions.
