NMRC Announces Board Changes: Appoints New Chairman and Substantive Managing Director

The Board of the Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company Plc (NMRC) has announced the appointment of Mr. Adeyemi Candide-Johnson as the Chairman and confirmed Mr. Kehinde Ogundimu as the substantive Managing Director of the Company, both appointments are effective December 1, 2018.

Mr. Candide-Johnson (SAN, FCI ARB) takes over from Dr. Charles C. Okeahalam who retired from Board effective 30th November 2018 after meritoriously serving the Company as its first independent chairman.

The company also announced the retirement of its pioneer Executive Director in charge of Policy, Strategy and Partnerships, Dr. (Mrs.) Chika Akporji after attaining the statutory age of service. In the same vein, Dr. (Mrs.) Anino Emuwa, an independent Non-Executive Director stepped down from the Board.

The newly appointed Chairman, Mr. Candide-Johnson noted that the outgoing members had served the company selflessly and contributed to its growth and development. He thanked them for their service to NMRC and the nation’s housing finance industry.
