NMRC Congratulates Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on Appointment as WTO DG

The Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company (NMRC) Plc heartily congratulates Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala on her appointment as the Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
NMRC is proud of Dr. Okonjo-Iweala’s historic emergence as the first woman and the first African to lead the WTO and believes that she is not only uniquely qualified but also possesses the dynamism and vision that is required to lead the Geneva-based global trade body through an era of much-needed reform.
The WTO appointment is a fitting recognition of Dr. Okonjo-Iweala’s remarkable track record of effective leadership and developmental service on the global stage and in Nigeria.
