Dr. Olabanjo Obaleye

Dr. Obaleye is the President, Angel Partners Limited (APL). APL is a business angel investment company and into consulting, business turnaround management, investment, real estate partnership, and project finance. He is the Group Executive Director, Adkan Services Nigeria Limited. Adkan Services Nigeria Limited is a parent company to 18 others wholly owned subsidiary companies with interests cutting across Real Estate, Financial Institution, Agro-Allied and Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG). Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank Plc is one of the subsidiary companies.

Dr. Obaleye was the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Infinity Trust Mortgage Bank Plc (ITMB) from 2004 – 2021. He was one of the pioneer shareholders in ITMB as he took part in its conceptualization and development since inception in 2002 leveraging on his banking experience since 1990. He had worked with Afribank Nig Limited, Midas Bank and Societe Bancaire before he joined ITMB in 2004 as the CEO.

He holds a Doctoral Degree in Business Administration (DBA) from Walden University, Baltimore, USA – a member of Laureate International Universities. He also holds a master’s degree in business administration with specialization in financial management from the University of Abuja. He is a graduate of Accounting from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.

Dr Obaleye is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), an Honorary Senior Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (HCIB), an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria, and a Member, Institute of Directors. He is also a member of the Mentoring Committee, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).

Dr. Obaleye is an Alumnus of Wharton Business School, Philadelphia and was a delegate to the World Housing Congress in Germany, Canada and USA. He is also an alumnus of Lagos Business School, Strathmore University Business School, Nairobi, Kenya, and Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut, USA. He is a member of the team that conceived the establishment of Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company.

Dr Obaleye is the Captain of IBB International Golf and Country Club, and a member of many other social and professional associations.
