Mr. Aminu Umar-Sadiq is the current Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA). Prior to his elevation to the office of MD/CEO of NSIA in October of 2022, Mr. Umar-Sadiq served as an Executive Director at NSIA, where he played key roles in implementing NSIA’s overall strategy and driving operational and financial performance.
Mr. Umar-Sadiq who has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Engineering Sciences from the University of Oxford (St Johns College), commenced his professional career in the mergers & acquisitions division of Morgan Stanley. Thereafter, he proceeded to join Denham Capital Management, a natural resource focused private equity fund, and then to the mergers and acquisitions division at Société Générale.
Owing to his wealth of knowledge and experience, Mr. Umar-Sadiq serves on numerous Boards in a non-executive capacity including on the Fund for Agricultural Finance in Nigeria (FAFIN), NSIA Healthcare Development and Investment Company and the Multipurpose Industrial Platform Limited (MIPL).
