Ifiok joined the Nigeria Mortgage Refinance Company (NMRC) in March 2015 as Financial Controller, where he played a pivotal role in establishing and managing the company’s financial control framework.

Before joining NMRC, he built a distinguished career at Deloitte, rising to the position of Manager in the Assurance Department. During his tenure, he gained extensive experience in financial statement audits, forensic audits – where he was among the pioneer members of the unit – and financial advisory services. He successfully led audit engagements for several public companies across multiple sectors, including financial services, manufacturing, and telecommunications, and contributed significantly to IFRS conversion projects.

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and an alumnus of Warwick Business School, Ifiok also participated in an international exchange programme at Deloitte’s Johannesburg office between November 2014 and February 2015. He brings to NMRC a wealth of expertise, professionalism, and leadership excellence.
